Policies

CREATION TIME:  

Each item is handcrafted with care and quality in mind, please allow 7-14 days for your piece of jewelry to be made.  If you have a specific time frame, please contact me first and we can discuss rushing your order.  

SHIPPING:

I ship through the United States Postal Service. If you prefer a different carrier please contact me and I would be happy to use them.    

 U.S. Shipping:

Shipped First Class mail via USPS which takes approximately 2-5 business days.

International Shipping:

Please contact me first if you would like to buy an item.

IMPORTANT: The buyer will be responsible for all taxes, duties and/or custom fees that may be associated with imported items, so please be aware your country's policies. If you are an international order the tracking will only work until it reaches the country of it's destination then it goes into that country's mail system. I have no control of tracking once it is out of the USPS system as every country is different.  

Payment with PayPal:

All orders are shipped to the Confirmed Paypal Address as per their policy. Please double check to make sure your address is correct.

TRACKING:

United States Postal Service only tracks through the United States, I will include a tracking number when your item ships.  

LOST PACKAGES:

Please understand that once a package leaves my hands, it becomes the responsibility of the United States Postal Service to deliver it to you safely.  You have the option to add insurance to your item to insure that you do not have a lost package, please let me know before you complete your purchase.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION & RETURNS:

I want you to be delighted with each purchase.  For this reason I use the highest quality materials and take my time on each and every project.  If a piece of jewelry does not meet your expectations please contact me within 5 days of receipt of your purchase. Returns are still done on a case by case basis, but in most cases I am happy to exchange or refund your purchase minus shipping if it shipped back to me in it's original condition and unworn. 

Custom orders are not returnable.

WARRANTY:

My warranty policy covers all of the jewelry purchased from Amalia Moon Jewelry. If any jewelry item you purchase breaks because of design or manufacture defect within 60 days of your original purchase, I will repair or replace the piece free of charge. After 60 days, each item is subject to inspection and may incur a fee.  This warranty covers all manufacturer defects in material or workmanship but does not cover improper care, accidents, neglect or natural wear and tear due to use or time.

Warranty exceptions and exclusions:

  1. Any damage to jewelry caused by neglect, abuse or natural wear and tear. A few examples: A ring becoming out of round due to wear while in the gym or lifting heavy objects. The patina (blackened areas) on a piece becoming lighten or removed through rubbing against other jewelry or objects. Jewelry that has been step on or run over.
  2. Any jewelry that has been repaired or altered by another jeweler. I will not be held responsible for another jeweler’s changes to my work. Any changes by another party voids my warranty and may exclude me from being able to repair it in the future depending on alterations made.
  3. Damage to stones. All stones can be damaged from regular wear and may incur chipping and breakage. If you have questions about the durability of a stone, please contact me for guidance.

If you need to return merchandise due to defects, please contact me first here for approval.  After received, I will carefully examine the defected jewelry and determine if the above criteria are met. Once approved, I will ship out your repaired or replacement item at no additional charge, time frame subject repair/replacement necessary.  

Amalia Moon Jewelry reserves the right to reject any returns that do not comply with the conditions stated above.
